Tight Lines

Four teenage girls are taking their first steps guiding anglers on the banks of Laxá in Aðaldalur, Icelands biggest salmon river. The river bank holds their family history, the girls being the 7th generation of guides by the beautiful river. They share a special bond with each other and their fathers as well as their surroundings. As the summer unfolds, they grow in confidence and skills while also making mistakes. At the same time nature is facing challenges, and so is the future of their family business.
