Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir

Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir, director and producer, is a well-known filmmaker who has specialized in documentary films and documentary television series. She is best known for the documentary series People Like That (Svona fólk), which explores the struggle for equality of gay men and lesbians in Iceland. More recently, her film The Day Iceland Stood Still, about the 1975 Women’s Day Off, has been screened on all continents and has received numerous awards. In 2024, Hrafnhildur was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Icelandic Order of the Falcon in recognition of her contribution to documentary filmmaking and her work on films addressing equality

Kati Juur

Kati Juurus is a documentary filmmaker based in Helsinki. She was previously artistic director of DocPoint Helsinki Documentary Film Festival, and has worked as a documentary producer and manager with Yle Finnish Broadcasting Company. She has also worked as an investigative journalist, and as an information officer with UNICEF in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Þóra Sigríður Ingólfsdóttir

Þóra Sigríður Ingólfsdóttir has served as director of the National Film Archive of Iceland since 2019. In that role, she has led the development of the institution’s operations, with an emphasis on preservation, digitization, and the dissemination of Iceland’s film heritage. She was previously director of The Icelandic Audio Library, where she oversaw extensive changes in digital services and access to cultural and educational materials. Þóra has been an active participant in cultural work both in Iceland and abroad and has long experience in jury work and conference management, including for RIFF and the Tromsø International Film Festival. She has also served on various juries in the fields of literature and culture.
