The Mushroom Kingdom

An installation excerpt from upcoming documentary series The Mushroom Kingdom by Anna Þóra Steinþórsdóttir and Erna Kanema Mashinkila airing on RÚV later this year. It celebrates the immense diversity and beauty of fungi — from microscopic mold spores to vast mushroom networks whose mycelium stretches across several square kilometers. Adding to the mystic atmosphere is a score composed by Sindri Már Sigfússon, who crafted the music using the bioelectric whispers of fungi themselves.
