Seachange

This film will enlighten and amuse audiences in equal manner and will reflect the humour and intelligence of the inhabitants of Flateyri, a remote village in the North West of Iceland that is facing extinction. Economic hardships, natural disasters, and the exodus of the youth have completely gutted what was once a thriving fishing town with a nationally renowned cultural heritage. All that is left is a few families, many old people and Polish immigrants who now count one fourth of the population.
