A documentary on New York City’s biggest public art project ever, an installation called “The Gates” by Christo and Jeanne Claude. In 1979 the Maysles brothers started filming the preparations of the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude. After years of various municipal and political hurdles the installation was finally completed in 2005.
