Dragan is a Macedonian actor trapped in an existential limbo, still living with his mother. He rescues stray dogs, takes odd jobs for a neighboring farmer, and searches for traces of ancient culture in pursuit of roots and belonging. An unresolved relationship with his father follows him, burdened by anger and shame.
