The idea for this film came to director Katla after she traveled to glaciers Nauthaga- and Múlajökull with her grandfather Leifur Jónsson on his yearly measuring trip. In October 2025 we travelled with Leifur on what may well be his last trip. He'll describe his travels and others will weigh in on future interviews.
