Maks Piłasiewicz is a Visual Anthropology graduate from the Institute of Polish Culture at Warsaw University. His background is in festival programming and production, with experience in events such as the Reykjavik International Film Festival, Warsaw Film Festival, Transatlantyk Festival and Millennium Docs Against Gravity. He collaborates as a programmer for IceDocs Iceland Documentary Film Festival and the ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival and works as a production manager at animation studio Animoon overseeing international co-productions.

Ása Baldursdóttir, Program Director at Bíó Paradís, is Iceland’s most seasoned film programmer and a true force in the local film scene. With a sharp eye for arthouse gems and a deep love for documentaries, she champions film literacy—one carefully curated screening at a time.

Sighvatur Ómar Kristinsson has over 20 years of experience as an editor and holds an M.A. degree in editing from the prestigious NFTS Film School in the U.K. His work on documentaries has received recognition, including awards such as the Einarinn at Skjaldborg and the Edda Award for Best Documentary.
