Davide Abbatescianni (1991) is a journalist and film critic based in Rome. He serves as an International Reporter for Cineuropa, covering the European film industry through daily news, interviews, reports, and reviews of new releases. His work has appeared in international outlets like Variety, Documentary Magazine, Business Doc Europe, The New Arab, New Scientist, and the Nordisk Film & TV Fond website. Abbatescianni covers around fourty major film festivals and industry events annually and currently serves as an external expert for Eurimages and Creative Europe. He is a member of the European Film Academy and FIPRESCI.
