Set in the ever changing landscape of Barton Glebe – a Christian woodland burial site in England – this film explores changing attitudes towards death, disposal and relationships with the landscape. Intricate on-location field recordings and natural imagery immerse us in the therapeutic possibilities of ‘nature’ for the grieving process, and, through anecdote from users of the site, we witness the freedom it allows for diverse and original expressions of memorial and grief.
